About M(r.)E

My name is Ethan Lubera! I am a middle school theatre teacher in Brighton, CO. Key Components of my classroom environment include learner growth, student identity, and student engagement.

I began my educational journey at the University of the Ozarks in Clarksville, Arkansas. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with a dual Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Music with minors in Education and Psychology. I plan to have a career in arts advocacy and education.

In May, I graduated with my Master of Arts in Teaching from the University of Arkansas, where I interned with Siloam Springs High School and Har-Ber High School.

Now, developing my craft, I work as a Middle School Theatre Teacher at Bromley East Charter School, creating a culture of artistic awareness and academic excellence.

In my classroom, you will see students thinking about the performing arts in new and exciting ways. My students devise 10-minute plays based on children's books, design clothing out of recycled materials, and create experiential theatre pieces to be performed for elementary students.
